Film Festival

Film Festival is an annual event from UMSU International for University of Melbourne students. With movie tickets often being too expensive for students to afford, the event aims to provide free screening of blockbuster movies with snacks included.

To advertise the event, I conducted a photoshoot with the theme “Prestigious Secrets” in alignment to the two screenings of “Parasite” and “Knives Out” on the days of the events. The models then simultaneously changed their profile pictures on social media on designated days to create a “paint the feed” effect, exposing their friend groups and followers to the event. Many of their acquaintance circles also overlap, creating a stronger impression on the target audience as they are continuously exposed to promotion.
